My hair is falling out - literally!!!!

Hi Everyone! Did anyone else suffer from this after a mc? It's not falling out in clumps but certainly more than normal and it getting a little worrying.......

Hey hunny..

First of all, sorry for your loss

Hormones can do all sorts of things including hair loss

It should be temporary while your hormones level themselves back up but dont think its anything major to worry about.

If it continues for more than a few weeks I would pop to your gp hun xx.

Thanks Jaxx! I kinda hoped that as well. Its been a month since the d&c and had 2 mc's, one after another - I guess it takes alittle longer to get on the level again.

Hi, if its a generally thinning all over its hormone related which isn't surprising with what you've been through. If it starts appearing it clunps or bald spots start appearing its more likely to be a stress related loss. Stay away from the hairdyerer, straightners, spray etc. Give it time to recover.
