'my god you're huge'

im 25 weeks on sunday n im gettin really sick of people who keep telling me how huge i am! i dont think im that big... certainly not huge!! before i was pregnant i was a size 8-10 n now im still wearin my size 10 clothes... alot of ppl keep saying how im looking huge... id just like your opinions... whether you think im bigger than usual at this stage or not??

God no! I really dont think you are that big at all.

People keep saying that to me I was also your size to start off with and to be honest I really dont think I am that big now. Although am a 12 can no longer fit into 8-10.

Not huge at all.. my bump looks a bit like yours and I am only 21 weeks!!

Don't worry about what others say.. maybe its just cos they are so used to seeing you slim and with no belly at all.. not cos you are fat or bigger than you should be!!!

I have put on 13 llbs so far this pregnancy and I know it will be alot more before this LO arrives... and SO WHAT!!!! I will worry about it after.. I cannot deny my choc and crisps cravings!!

Anne Marie, thats so true! if we feel, no if the baby feels the need to eat then so be it! we have to eat! Chocolate crisps and sweets well thats what mine likes anyway!

You look absolutely fine, Im about your size at the mo.

I get people saying that 'Im big'.

Like you I have always been 7 1/2 stone, size 8, I am now 9 1/2 stone and in maternity clothes size 8/10. I am unable to get into any of my pre pregnancy clothes.

Definately not I looked huge at 25 weeks compared to you!! People said I was big then hospital said I was small 5 weeks later

I think it's more a case of people aren't used to seeing you with a belly.

I'm about the same size as you and I've had lots of people saying the same thing to me. I've probably said/thought it of other pregnant people in the past.

I don't worry what people say because so far it's only my stomach that's grown.

Are you still wearing a 10 in normal clothes? Blooming no way you can be big if that's the case.

I don't think you're huge by any means.
I know what you mean though, that phrase is really getting on my wick , people keep telling me i'm massive (at nearly 39 weeks pregnant what are they expecting for christ sake!, actually I still don't think i'm that big)

Anyway, before I start ranting here's my bump at 25ish weeks, it's bigger than yours i think.

i can't see your picture... it's not down loading on my screen for some reason but i know how you feel about people sayoing "aren't you big"!

I don't think i'm big - i'd say normal size for my weeks! i think people react like that because they are used to seeing us with a flat stomach... also i don't know if people think they are saying what we want to hear! maybe they think we want to be told where growing...

I find the people who make the most comments are the once who have recently had babies them selves... I've heard them all "i was never as big as you" "your about the size i was when i was full term" I've started laughing at them now!!!

Oh Hayley, people are saying exactly the same to me!

A woman at work said today 'I wasn't even as big as you full term. but of course I was a dancer so had much stronger stomach muscles than you'
I just thought 'F**k *ff!'

Even my mum and sister keep saying 'Oh, I was 6 months before I STARTED showing'

None of it is true! I think maybe some women block out the size they got to!

You look perfect and very neat, my bump is similar at 19 weeks but at ;east it's definitely tummy and not all over!

Both your bumps look pretty much the same shape so that throws out any theorys about gender.

All the other bumps are lovely too

I found that despite being big quite quick I didnt keep getting big at the same rate. The baby just filled out all the space inside. This baby seems the same.

Thanks everyone! I feel alot better now! Yeh im still wearing normal size 10 clothes... my trousers go just under my bump... am thinkin of gettin sum maternity clothes though, just so that i feel more comfortable!!

I'm much bigger than you and I'm only 18 weeks!! I think I compare to Dionne in bump size, although she is smaller in frame than me.

People just seem to think you are now public property to be able to comment on. I have had 2 comments this morning from seperate people. One was "You'll be huuuuge (massive emphasis on this word!) by the time you're 9 months if you carry on like this", and the other was "Wow, don't you look well? You've obviously hit the blooming stage. And isn't your ickle bump cute?"

i totally agree tankett!! ppl think you are public property n can say whatever they want!! ppl tell me im huge, then sum1 tells me im really small lol
i hate it that people think its ok 2 be asking me stuff like, was it planned... are you happy about it... how do u feel about throwin ur life away havin a baby so young...
i dnt no if its jus my pregnancy emotions gettin th beta of me... or would this annoy everyone else??

Oh no Hayley, it's not just you. I get the comments about coping with the sleepless nights as I am older, and the big age gap between this one and my daughter.

The funny thing is that my daughter wasn't actually planned, but I can't remember any comments at all when I was pg with her!
