Same here hun! that's why i ended up with 4! There all rescues though sooty was abandoned by my mums old next door neighbour she just upd and left he was only 8 weeks old and in such a state my mum already had 4 cats so i said id have him, he about 18 months old now xx

ah bless, lovely pics All my cats were abandoned too, one was left in a flat i moved in to, and the other two were left in a box outside my house, poor things were only 4 weeks old at the time

I inherited our neighbours cat when he was slung in the clunk for murder. Typical. Lol

The worst was when we 'inherited' a dead cat - all of our cats are black and there was a black cat that had been run over a little further down the lane. We saw it as we were driving home one night and of course panicked thinking it was one of ours, but realised it wasn't when we went and had a look, then checked all of ours were inside and accounted for. We left it where it was so that the real owner could find it, but a neighbour, being far too kind, assumed it was one of ours and left it on our doorstep. It was a very, very cold night and we found this dead, frozen cat on our doorstep the following morning We did ask around the nearby houses but no-one knew whose it was so we buried it in our garden and planted a little tree for it in the Spring. The tree's growing really well so at least one good thing came out of it I guess...
