Hey ladies

Thought I would get your opinion on something I've made for my cousin's little boy born last week... Got a bit of a bug for doing something with myself during lo's nap time rather than wasting it (or spending it baking as that means I have to eat the results and can only bake fattening stuff so not great for waistline!)

So, what do you think?! Be as brutal as you like, I already plan to make a hanging heart trinkets thing for another cousin getting married at Easter and another friend has a little girl due next week so going to do something for her too... Perhaps bunting, maybe something else, not sure yet!

Looks great! Its always good to have something to do while lo is sleeping x

Thanks hun, just felt and buttons at the mo but thinking of trying stuff out with other materials too.

Giving this one to my cousin tomorrow so fingers crossed she likes it!

Ooh Mikid, well done, love both of those, actually, when you have looked at both, you can tell you have improved since doing the first one! I love stitching on felt, with the kig stitches round the edges. I once made a tiny finger pillow for my mates little 3 year old, with LEO on it, as he shut his finger in a door badley and he had an issue with it in the end, and stressed at night, so his little finger pillow was used so it could lay on it at night, and bingo full nights sleep, but it ended up going everywhere with him and looked a right mess in the end!!!

I must try bunting myself, I'm a big kid , I fancy some in my room!

How about a little gift basket, lined with felt, where it goes over the edges , filled with eg new baby goodies, birthday pamper gifts etc
