my broodiness is unbearable!

dexter is 14 months now and since he was about 3 months ive been broody. but the last 6 months ive been reeeally broody. OH wanted to wait til we had moved house and settled. we've been in our house 5 months now and nice n settled, but OH has just been made redundant after only 5 months in his new job. hes had a few interviews and has a second interview on tuesday so hopefully something will come up. so i suggested trying 4 months after he starts a new job so he is secure in it. but hes said to talk to him in may and then maybe we can start trying.
i feel like ive been waiting forever already. the idea of waiting til may before 'maybe' trying just sounds like torture to me!!!

i love dexter to pieces and i do focus all my energy into raising him to be healthy and happy, but as soon as i see a little baby or a lady with a bump i just get that gut wrenching feeling!!! OH doesnt understand and he would happily wait at least a year, and of course because hes unemployed for now i cant keep putting pressure on him cause theres already enough pressure for him to get a job in record time!

Ohhh I feel your pain!!!! I have been very broody since I got married a year and a half ago but I was trying to be submissive to my husband as he rightly pointed out that we needed to grow together first and save. So we put off TTC for a while but now I have been told I'm in for a nasty surgery so TTC will be like another year at least

I know the feeling hun, all I can even think about is ttc again and luckily I have DH on my side finally maybe once ur oh is in a job he will be able to see where ur coming from and he will feel happier to ttc. Must be hard trying to find a job and wanting another baby as he probably wants to make sure he can provide for u and dexter before thinking of a new baby.

aww stephdev, sorry to hear that its been put off for another year, i cant think of many things worse!

kanga - he got offered a job!!!!!!! his first day is tomoro. im going to bring up having a baby in january and see what he says. hopefully i will be able to convince him with the fact tht it could take us a while to get preggo then theres the 9 months gestation! eeeeeeeeeek! hopefully il have a little one by next xmas!!! xxx

I know that feeling doesn't help my friend has a new grandson i see all the time, and i have a squidge with him, but it just makes me even more broody!

Huge congrats on your OH getting the job hun! I'm also really broody. We went to a family wedding last weekend and one of OH cousins has a 5 month old and holding her put my broodiness into overdrive! We've decided not until early next year for various reasons, I can't wait xxx
