I think im allergic to cocoa butter :wall:
i was slathering it on all yesterday and it stung, i dont know if it was the cocoa butter, or just cause my skin is that sore now though

It sounds like u have puppp...u should b able to get an anti itch cream. I think this is wot I've got on my thighs but it's not unbearable at the mo,I've just been slappin aqueous cream on it xx

Just googled that.. looks like it could be.. yet another thing to ask the midwife, ive got a lil list LOL

Found this aswell..

" One study has shown that male fetal DNA can be found in skin biopsies of the rash. Since 70% of women with PUPPP give birth to boys, a new hypothesis is that male fetal DNA acts as a skin irritant. "

Lol.. i hope not! everything is pink!

Lol..my sis had somethin similar at the beginnin of both her pregnancies and she went on to have girls. xx

we need to put some scratch mitts on u! Hope u can get some relief sounds so frustrating x

I have this and it's bloody awful, it spreads too, I now have it at the bottom of my back and my elbows. I've been given Eumovate and 10mg anti histamines and sorry to be the barer of bad news they didn't really help :eh: That's not to they won't help with you though :oooo:

Calamine Lotion!!! I love the stuff... leaves you with white marks but it works! x

I was given piriton and calamine lotion for mine, both of which did absolutely nada :( I have been using sudocream, baby lotion and vasaline moisturising stuff, they help for a little while at least. The doc i saw yesterday used my itching as well as my SPD as a reason for induction so I hope you get the same treatment.

As for the itching.... oh my god it hurts so much but it feels so good! I mean litlerally its the closest thing that Ive come to an orgasm in ages! Haha!! But you should see my body, I am wondering what the midwives will say when I go in on Friday, it looks like i have a flash eating virus!!

Ooo! Just off the top of my head, heat always always seems to make mine worse. Anything like hot water or showers kill, and also sweat. Because when I go to bed I get drenched in sweat, that irritatates the buggery out of it. Also also, and I know none of us facy doing this when we are so heavily pregnant, but going nekkid really helps! I find clothes just rub and irritate my skin even more!

Hope some of these help you hunny.

xxx
