I have had really bad hips/back today and have found its stopped my in my tracks. I've just been getting on with it otherwise. I've just been to the loo and opened my bowels (scuse the details) and realised my mucus plug has started to break away a bit more. I am fully aware that it's not a sign of labour but do you think the hip/back ache is a sign of baby moving down a bit more causing the plug to break a bit more? X

I would say yes definitely. Baby must be causing pressure for it to be released.

I'm going to have a sweep on the 15th June and I hope this brings things on. I'm guessing she'll also give me a bishops score too and I really hope it's above 8. I do know they say on your 3rd pregnancy things should be way more in my favour and the fact I gave birth within 12 months, it should be all good to go. X

I started loosing my mucas plug at 36 weeks last time and By the end of week 36 I had lots of sudden bleeding and went into triage that day and had a section that night

Not to worry you as it's not always a sign and might have not been related for me xx

Thanks jjmum, it's all just little bits of plug but they have said baby is very low so I'm hoping she's doing most the work before I get induced. I'm so excited but so nervous. I've had my fair share of pregnancy these last two years so I'm very ready to have this baby x
