Hi ladies

since yesterday when ive gone to the loo ive seen a couple of very small gungey bits in the toilet
they look like stringy discharge - cream in colour
could this be mucus plug starting to come away?
i know its sometimes weeks after it comes away before labour starts - thank goodness as i am only 31+5
any advice - should i worry?
ive had slight periody pains which i posted about yesterday but not majorly strong - thought was just stretching as im fairly small still and ive heard this is growth spurt time...
seem to be more crampy in the evenings too - not so much during the day
any advice would be great
thank u
Hols x

hmmm not sure, but dosen't sound like mucus plug to me, my mucus plug looked like cold you might blow out your nose if you had a bad cold, but it also had blood in it and there was quite a lot, that said I'm no professional so please call your midwife if you have any more, 31 weeks would be very early to lose it, hope this helps

Hey Hun when I wasn't sure I googled mucus plug and clicked on images to see what it looks like it will help you figure it out as it comes out in different ways xx

Thank you girls I had actually googled the image as well (lovely!) and I'm not sure. I don't know if it always comes away in one go or it can come bit by bit cause the bits I've had are quite small and stringy.. Def isn't the whole thing that's for sure as the pics look quite big but it's diff to normal discharge as well although iv read it can increase from now too

Mines been coming away bit by bit over the past week or so, so it doesnt always come in one go x
