Hi my little girl is looking like a sardine in her moses basket so we are going to try her in her cot in her own room in the next week or two (she's almost 4 months old). Any tips from switching from moses basket to cot and from your room to own room? She's in a really good bedtime routine and sleeps really well (going to bed between 7-7.30pm and only waking once between 3.00-5.00am for a feed). Obviously don't want to upset things too much and want to make the transition as smooth as possible. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!

When I first put mine in a cot I layed a nightie down for them to sleep on that I had worn for a night, so it was comforting. I also rolled up 2 towels and put them close but not touching the baby so that they still felt secure.

Hi,

When we first put Joey into his travel cot (but still in our room) we put his moses basket into this for a few nights. It still was familiar but got him used to the new view.

Good luck x
