Have been feeling baby move properly (frequent kicks) for about 2 weeks, I'm 19 weeks now and the kicks were strong enough to be felt and seen from the outside.
the last few days I've felt nothing...I know it's still early days so it may be in a different position etc but should I still go and get checked out?
ADAU have already said i'm too early to go there..should I push to be seen? I'm a wee bit panicky

It's highly likely your baby has just turned into a position that you can't feel. I started getting proper kicks at 19 weeks, at 22 after feeling loads for weeks they totally stopped. I wasn't worried and knew no one would see me that early anyway. After 2/3 days she started kicking again, the same happened Last weekend, on Sunday I felt nothing all the way until 11am Monday. Saw the midwife on Thursday for my 24 weeks app who said if it happens again to go in. She said after 24 weeks I should go in which surprised me as I thought it was 28 weeks. Tbh I hadn't even been worried really but she said they now understand how important movement is

Sorry to ramble on without any real advice, but that's my experience this pregnancy

Yes I thought it was 24 x
Thank you hopefully baby is just facing the other way x

I’m having my first so I know I’m less likely to feel the baby early on, but I haven’t felt anything definite or regular yet - I’m sure he/ she will just have moved. Are you still using the Doppler?

Please, please don’t use a Doppler at home for reassurance!! There’s so much advice and lots of warnings out now to avoid dopplers unless you’re trained in using them. It’s impossible to know that baby is ok just from the use of a Doppler. If you have any concerns at all, speak to your midwife.
It’s more than likely just too early for baby to have established a regular pattern of movements or they’ve just changed positions. But as I said, contact your midwife with any concerns. Xxx

My mum listens in, she's a midwife x
I only use it for entertainment if I had any concerns it would be straight to hospital.. however lots of people are telling me it's normal because baby is so small but I can't help but think of the kicks I was feeling last week..you could actually see my tummy moving

What has your mum said you should do?

I was honestly the same, saw my tummy moving one night and then nothing at all for three days. Have you still not felt anything since?

Nothing... she said call my midwife but everyone says same, baby is little so could be kicking anywhere and I wouldn't feel it...
She doesn't cope well with my paranoia :/

Sorry, I didn’t realise. I get so worried when I see people using home dopplers as there’s so many cases of false reassurance, but glad you have a midwife handy :)
How’s things today? Xx
