Hi, just wondering what peoples views on movements are?

I'm 20 weeks on Thursday (second baby) and still haven't felt any movements, no butterflies, flutters or anything. I know everyone is different but really thought I'd be feeling something by now, I think I was only about 20/21 weeks when I started feeling my first x

Hi lovely, I really don't think you need to worry. As you said, everyone's different. I've felt some rolling and flutters for the past week, I'm 16+3 today, but I'm very slim so I take that into consideration. I was 19 weeks with my son xx

Hi, I felt a couple of movements a couple weeks ago but nothing since. I'm 17+3 with my third, was hoping to feel something soon for some reassurance. Got midwife on Thursday to listen to heartbeat, hoping that will reassure me xx

Thank you for your replies, I know it's probably nothing to worry about but you know what pregnancy does to you and your head! Haha.

I'm at Midwives on Thursday too, it's my 16 week appointment but I'll be 20 weeks as it's the only time they could fit me in so should hopefully hear heartbeat then x

Try not to worry. It could be the position of baby or placenta. Especially if you felt first baby around 20w this one may be the same if it's in same position.

I felt mine 17w and 14w but it was a gradual process and then all of a sudden I was like please just give me 5 mins of you not kicking my organs about

Hope all goes well at mw xxx

I wouldn't worry, I was over 20 weeks with my first 2 and my placenta was at front so cushioned the movements. I'm nearly 17 weeks with #3 and feeling nothing.

I'm driving myself batty with this too. With my daughter I felt pretty regular movements by 16 weeks, but haven't felt anything yet with this one other than maybe a few flutters, I'm so impatient!

Sure we'll be moaning in no time about needing a rest from being kicked  x

I've got anterior placenta and only just started feeling moments, I'm 21 weeks
I think this could be the case for you ?
Try not to worry xxxz

Hi, I wouldn't worry (says she who is worrying!) I didn't feel any movements with my daughter until 24 weeks and this time I felt a couple of things a few weeks ago but nothing since and I'm nearly 17 weeks. No heartbeat listened to at 16 weeks so I'm a bit anxious. Luckily my scan is the earliest it can be at bang on 19 weeks so not too long to wait X

Oh and I had anterior placenta with my daughter :)
