How do pram sheets work??

I've been advised to get some, but how do they go? Can't I just use blankets when in pram?

Anddddd, cot sheets, how many do you need etc? I'm guessing you just have to know what the size of the matress is before buying them? How many sheets go on the matress?

I've already been told to put a muslin down under their head flat so if they dribble or are sick it can just be cleaned up rather than changing whole matress covers.

May seem rediculous, birthed pram sheets have thrown me a bit. X

hmmm I would like to know about this as my pram has a fleecy liner which I am not sure if I need a blanket or sheets this is so confusing. I haven't bought any cot/pram sheets yet but now have the size of the cot as it arrived today so if I see some hope someone can help soon x

Pram sheets as far as im aware go on the mattress on the pram. Think you only need these when you have a pram with a mattress type bottom. They are the same as moses basket ones i think and they work in the same way, just slip over the mattress. And as for cot sheets iv got 3 fitted sheets for the bottom and 3 flat sheets for over baby you only need the 1 fitted sheet and 1 flat sheet on the bed but obviously depending on weather if you have a blanket over aswell x

^i agree,not many prams have seperate mattresses in nowadays,a lot r just liners. So just a muslin under head works fine x

A flat sheet is wot u put on top of baby but underneath the blankets if that makes sense? I used flat sheets in my Moses basket but didn't bother in pram x

i wudnt waste ur money hun muslins fine altho ive never even done that, i dont madison in the pram and theres not a mark on her pram or car seat it still looks like new and i use it loooadss!!

as for cot sheets theyre standard... they were in asda baby event but.... my friend whos manager in asda said theyre next baby event is november so thats still time to get them... i think i only have three fitted sheets cos they wash and dry soo quick xx

i used pram sheets just to line the bottom of the pram, mine were flat, i.e they didnt have any elastic or whatever in them, kinda like a napkin or something like that! i used to use them in the moses aswel instead of a fitted sheet cos E just threw up constantly! i got rid of all mine recently and i swear i had upwards of 20!!
