Tis the third bleed since i got pregnant, had a scan at 6+2 due to bleed, a scan at 11+3 dues to bleed and im now 15+1 and have the beginnings of a bleed. Is there anyone else out there that is getting these too?
Some women seem to have them throughout pregnancy.
I have a friend who has had four children and had bleeding all through all four of her pregnancies but has four happy healthy children They could never explain it, it just happened but she and babies were fine throughout pregnancy.
Hopefully you can get checked out if need be. It may be just one of those things that can't explain
Ive heard women can still have periods whilst pregnant but not sure if thats actually true. If you've had it before then chances are its nothing to worry about but maybe phone your MW for reassurance
A friend of mine had period throughout her pregnancy, she didn't find out until 7 months into pregnancy.
So it could be anything. I had small bleeding a few weeks ago and had a scan and they said they couldn't see any reason for it at all.
But it's always better to have it checked just to be on the safe side x
I had a about a day of light brown discharge at 8 and then 12 weeks which would have coincided with when my periods were so it is possible but mine were very very light almost not noticable, different to the one i had at 9 weeks which was still light but scary!
If you are concerned at all i would ring your midwife i am sure she will be able to reassure you
I have not had red bleeding but I have had a light brown discharge first at 12 weeks and on and off since then. I've been on holiday in America for the past 2 weeks so I called the midwife when we got back on Friday and she told me to come in so she could listen to the heartbeat. Everything seems fine . She did say that it is very common though to bleed or have a discharge sometimes all the way through a pregnancy. It still doesn't make it any less worrying though.
I also remember my doc saying that something like 1 in 4 women have bleedings and absolutely nothing is wrong with them and can't find explanation why it's happening so it seems to be quite a common thing...
