mongolian bluespot

Noa got an mongolian bluespot, its massive.. its all over his bum and lower back, looks like a massive bruise its dark blue.
I knew it was a big chance he would get it as its common in african and asian babies but it looks scary like hes been beaten
I know most of the PF babies are white but it can also show on white babies so i was just wondering if anyone have any experience and how long theire babies had this? The doctor said he might have it til hes 3! but i hope it will go quicker..

Oh I've heard of it but not seen one on a White baby. I think it's kinda cool! And it's on his bum too so it's not like everyone will look at him and think he's need beaten lol.

Oscar has a small patch, like a bruise near his ass about the size of 2 50p's. I tell the kids it's where a fairy kissed him lol.

Since I read your post I've been thinking.... Me and my 5 year old and my auntie have the same birth Mark just above our asses and Oscar has this one below his ass. Ours look like a dark splatter blodge. My daughters is identical to mine! I'll take pics tomorrow. Oooh I wonder if we have them!! Mine was huuuge as a baby but shrunk now to about the size of my hand stretched out. I feel special!!

Ah my neice Ruby has one...hers was also massive when she was born and my sil had to get the HV to make a note of it for future refference and so nobody thought anything was wrong but shes 1 next week and its a lot smaller than it used to be so hers is def fading and shrinking....xxx
