Hi rach hope your day at work went ok? How are today? Not long till sunday!! Had more cm today so think ovulation must be approaching although opk still faint! DH coming home before he goes to airport so we can dtd! Then hopefully sunday! Started taking asprin for last 2 days (low dose). Was wondering about evening primrose oil too but looks like you can only take it during af and up to ovulation and not after. Might pick some up before af arrives! There is another lady on other thread who is at same stage as us....would be great if the 3 of us could conceive quickly! X

Hi melly just home as we have half day Friday which is fab. I am ok today bleeding slightly altho it's brown in colour so no idea what's going on. Popped into home bargains in my way and stocked up on hpt and 5 opks although I have no idea when to use opks haha probably when I finish bleeding. That's great that he is coming home first get some more practice in whilst u r ovulating haha! Hope u r well and looking forward to the weekend? At this rate Sunday will be a no go if I am still bleeding but I guess we will see. That would be great if we all caught soon fingers crossed x

I got a bit of brown right at the end so fingers crossed its the end of it for you? Opk's best to start cd8 onwards. Do them between 12-4 at same time each day till you get a positive...hopefully not long. Glad the wkd is here although have no plans....what about you? X

Do cd start when bleeding finishes? I no for a normal period they don't but have no idea about mmc. Hopefully it is it ending I have no patience for pads lol. It feels like a million years ago and a dream that I was ever pregnant. No plans ye for the weekend but I want to get out and about as was pretty much stuck in all last week with what was going on x

Getting out will be good and will help time pass too! Cd1 is day of first bleed so for me that was day of mva so im cd14 today. Ovulation can occur from as early as 10 days after mva but more likely to be between 14-21....can get really cheap opk test strips on amazon or ebay....usually get 20-30 for less than £5. Once ovulation approaching and test strip starts to get darker might be worth doing x2 a day. So one around 12-2 then one around 6pm as you want to catch your LH surge.important not to do them before lunchtime as it would pick up your surge until 12 onwards-ish..this is best indicator that ovulation will happen within 4-36 hours so best time to dtd! Doing it before then so when line starts to get darker is also good as sperm hangs around a few days so ideally you want to little swimmers to be there ready and waiting to say hello to the egg! Having ewcm is usually a really good sign to! Youll start to be obsessed with poas like me!! x

Ok so I am cd8 today then. That all sounds so complicated I don't even know what a Lh surge is haha. How r u feeling tonight? Did u get to dtd before he went to the airport lol? I can't get heat into me today so hope I am not coming down with something. Totally thinking of caving and dtd tonight as only small amount there when I wipe ��. O I am already there with being a poas addict haha down another test today but it must have been faulty as it didn't even have a control line x

I hope you dont get ill! There are lots of colds around at the moment. I had one last week! We did dtd before kids came back from school. DH is london now till yom night so will dtd again sunday! Youll prob be fine to dtd if its pretty much stopped. LH is luteinizing hormone and this surge triggers ovulation. When you get LH surge your opk will be positive (control line as strong as test line) and this means you have a window usually lasting up to 36-48 hours where youll be most fertile...just before ovulation. Its easy reallg when you get the hang if it. Lets hope we wont need to do opks for long x

Well I caved last night and dtd haha! All went well altho I am still spotting this morning. How r u feeling? I'm still getting faint lines on 25mui so hormones must still be a bit over that . Glad u got fitted in before he went lol. Hopefully we won't need opks for too long x

Fab stuff! Still have no idea if im ovulating as i guess the opks might pick up hcg hormones still! Still get faint opks though so hoping when i get peak should mean ovulation imminent! Going to be a long day today as raining and have kids on my own till DH gets back at 9pm! Might take them swimming later but theyre happy playing lego at the moment. slept really well last night 10.30-6.30 without waking also fell back to sleep after going for a wee! Must have needed the rest! Maybe try and hold out till mon to do another hpt?? Im trying to hold out till tom/mon. Its very faint of 25 miu so sure it wont be long!

Im rubbish!! 10 mins after posting my last reply saying i was going to wait till tom or mon to do hpt!! I caved and just did one....a 10 miu one and its come back negative! Not going to get hopes up as i jad negative one of these test twice even though the 25miu was still positive (ran out of 25miu!) I might check again later as still have 4 left and there as cheap as chips! (Well chips up here arent that cheap anymore!) I really hope i can avoid buying some home bargains tests...i can hear them calling out to me! Succumbed to buying a cb fertility monitor....£80 cant believe ive just bought it online! Not sure whether to tell DH!! Hehe! I suppose if it works its money well spent and im sick of guessing when ovulation is! We will be bankrupt before xmas if i havent conceived!!

That's fantastic! I'm a long way of that I think. I have not tested today and I am trying to be strong and hold out as I know it won't have changed. We took Ruby to indoor soft play this morning to get rid of some energy although think the slush puppy cancelled that out haha. Oo that sounds good when will it arrive? U will have to let me no how u get on. That should mean ur opks are right and u should be ovulating very soon which is exciting x

Hope do. Did opk at 12.30 and still very faint so no idea if im going to ovulate this cycle or not...some women dont ovulate until after first af! My kids love slush puppies too but not good when trying to chill! Ive taken kids swimming and am likely to wonder down to the retail park....theres a superdrug, boots and home bargains!! Arggghh! Bet you i come back with homebargains hpt and do one later! I need to buy them without kids seeing! Might hav to send them off to superdrug haha!

Still not convinced hcg is zero now.....maybe ltr will confirm either way!! either way i will keep you posted x

So i did cave and got home bargains hpt (25miu) and just done one. Think its negative as cant see a line!. Ive uploaded it for you. The 10miu i did this morning was negative but the one i took...i think thursday was still a faint positive...must mean over last 2 days my hcg must have dropped below 10 making it possible for me to ovulate now. Yayy! Im going to definately tske this as a negative result and refrain from doing hpt now until i think my af might be late....fingers crossed! Hope you get your negative quickly...should be quicker as bleeding was far less for you and i think i was a little further on in pg than you....let me know how your next hpt goes....try and hold out till monday. I hope you have better will power than i do haha!

Wow thats 3 rainbows between us over last couple of days. A good sign for sure! Been doing reading again to see how quickly i could ov after a neg hpt!!! It varies hugely so will be super vigilant over next few days to see if u get any twinges! My poor DH will be too tired to dtd when i eventually do ovulate!! Hope you get signs of ov soon too x
