They might give you a pregnancy test there and then and if it is BFN then they will probably take blood and you will have to wait a bit for results but best to get the ball rolling though eh?!

yeah, i will ring Danny in a bit on my lunch and ask him whether, if i can get an appointment for about 4.30-4.15, he can come and collect me from work, if not, will ring for tomorrow!!!

Come on bfp!!!

You should be able to do a wee wee sample and take it to your surgery and ask the receptionist to get the nirse to test it, they should be able to do that and then phone you with the results!! Do that, in fact do that now!!!!!!

Glad that evil AF looks like she has taken a hike It is soooooo infuriating waiting though, bet you can't think about anything else. I know I can't.

Wish there was some really obvious symptom other than lack of AF...I don't know, like hair turning blue!

Not sure why we put ourselves through it!

All this suspense TTC, then - if I remember it correctly with my first - you spend the first 12 weeks scared to death something will go wrong, the next 12 weeks in a state of permanent arousal crossed with desperately trying to look like a pregnant lady rather than one who likes her pies, and then the third 12 trying not to kill everyone who talks to you and wishing the baby would just get the hell out of you!!!

Oh and then it's the leaky boobs, sleepless nights, dirty nappies...........

Women are mad! It's official! No wonder babies have to be so damn cute!

do you not have a walk in centre? in milton keynes if you can't get a appointment with your doctors you can go to the walk in centre.....

you mean as in doctors? i dont think so - we have a clinic across the road from my work, but im sure they will only make me do a pg test so no point going there!!!

Hey MissG,

I just wanna warn you that if they do a urine test as docs it may be BFN cos when I was PG I got a BFP with home ones and still got a BFN's with my docs until over a week later. The receptionist told me that the home ones are alot more accurate....

Just dont want you to be disheartened if u get a neg at docs, u stand a really big chance of being PG cos ur so late so they may do a blood test too.

Hope that doesnt sounds awful just wanted to warn ya cos i was gutted when I got a BFN from docs.
