My boy has severe milk allergy and soya allergy. (milk protein allergy)

I have finaly found some chocolate which doesn't contain soya,
Its made from ricemilk. lactose/dairy/soya free.

Anyone know if this would be ok? or tried it? I tried my boy on soya choc buttons around 6 months he literally had 2 buttons and was projectile vomiting that evening for a good couple of hours.
So im scared to give it a go! x

The only way to know is to try him.
Most kids with milk/soya allergies also have rice/ egg allergies as well (can have a blood test done to confirm).
Nut milks/chocolates are the best way around this xx

I've tried him with egg and he's been fine. although he doesn't like it much lol.
what are nut milks/chocolates?
x

Coconut/Hazelnut/Almond milk is readily available from supermarkets, although most aren't suitable under 1 (just realised).
I think finding actual foods will be more difficult xx

Hi hun. We got Oliver some chocolate from that shop in Southampton you told me about. Dairy and soy free. Not the nicest lol and don't melt on the tongue. Oh zapped it in the microwave and he had great fun tasting that. xxx

Hello I know a girl whose son us allergic to toms, dairy, pears, soya, egg, wheat ,corn syrup which is loads of stuff and some other allergies. She found a good high quality dark chocolate I think at least 70% and she made her own chocolate buttons by melting the chocolate into button shapes .

You can try almond, oat, coconut milk, I gave my daughter those not for allergy reasons. There was only 1 brand of those milk that said not suitable for under 1 so you should be fine. It won't be as a main milk source until 1 anyway as with cows milk.

Why on earth you'd feel the need to feed your kid chocolate before 1 (and even after 1 I don't agree except special occasions sugar and such...) is beyond me...
