I have the most awfull migrane ever i have had it since yesterday and it feels like my head is about to explode and i feel awfully sick :puke: And it doesant help having to look after my 2 lo's feeling so bad  Does anyone have any good ideas as to get rid of it and how long do they normally last? I hate feeling so rough :(

Aaah sorry hun I don't suffer from them, maybe a nice relaxing bath would be nice but that's hard with your little ones. Hope it goes soon

I get really bad migraines. if you cant get yourself to the chemist i would get someone else to go if you can. you can get great things over the counter now, imigran or migraleve can both be bought. other than that, i run half a bath and sit under the shower with that on too. the hot water on my head takes the awful sickie feeling away. try and keep your fluids up too. hope this helps babe, it is a horrendous thing to have...

I too suffer with migranes, and they are a right pain. Do try and get something over the counter, otherwise i find either a cold or warm compress on the back of my neck and forehead sometimes helps, also drink plenty of water and don't have too many bright lights on around you...and i know it's hard but try not to think about the pain so much.

Hope you feel better soon.

How are you on the computer if you have a migraine - i can't even bear to look at the screen! :) let alone move.
I used to get them really really bad aything up to 3 a week, but when i was pregnant and ever since they have been around 1-3 a month and they are nowhere near as bad.

I was advised to take soluable asprin or something strong around 500mg. as soluabke gets absorbed quicker.

Syndol - worked really well for me. and sleep.

Lavender oil bath...

Hope it gets better - i would get someone to come home and have the kids.
