Midwife booking appointment

Yay! It's today.
I shall be taking a long list of gripes and queries with me. I feel so old with this pregnancy, can't believe it is 7 years since I was pregnant with my daughter.
Still can't believe we could finally be giving her a sibling. Very good things come to those who wait.

Went ok today, albeit with a temporary midwife. Will get to meet my midwife at 15 weeks.
I felt proper queasy when she was taking my blood though - never had that happen before! First time for everything.
The only thing I really learned today was that my elected hospital is only a birth centre, so cannot deal with any complications or labours before 37 weeks. I have to see a consultant at 22 weeks due to my surgery for the ectopic to assess whether I can be referred to the birth centre at term or have to go to the main hospital in Bristol 20 miles away. Its starting to sound complicated! I'm sure it will all be pretty straightforward in the end though.
Now awaiting my much wanted 12 week scan date. The countdown begins!
