Midwife Appt Today :-)

Pointless thread really just wanted to update you on bubs!

He was back to back at my last appointment but I've managed to get him to turn

Midwife had a feel and he is still head down and the top of his head is beginning to engage but she can still move it around. Blood pressure is excellent but she wants me to take some iron supplements... not a big deal.

She has booked me in to see her again on 18th November- 2 days before due date for a check up and SWEEP! Yippee. Hopefully little man will make an appearance before that but at least I know she is going to give me one before due date

SUPER EXCITED. So pleased that I wont see her again until then!! Can't believe I have 4 weeks to go on saturday.. home stretch here I come!!!

Yeah I am seeing a consultant in between... on the 8th. I thought appts were supposed to be closer together at the end but she is happy with me!

how did you manage to get the baby to move my baby is lying back to back and the pains I am getting are so so sore xx

xxClaire_24xx - i was advised to get down on my hands and knees for at least an hour a day, bounce on a birthing ball as much as possible, i just used a gym ball, and sleep on ur left side. it worked for me hope it works for you too x

Yay! Glad baby has turned. One mw told me to make sure I don't slouch as that encourages baby to lie back to back.

Hey girls thanks for the replies!! EEEK cannot bloody wait. I got him to turn by sitting on my ball and leaning forward as much as possible. I actually felt him move with one big swish so I knew he had. Looks like he is all set to stay in the right position now... fingers crossed!

Yeah long time till midwife appt...because I am seeing the consultant on the 8th! She doesnt see the need for me to go weekly as everything has gone sooooo smoothly.

Have to say the last three days though have been tough! I dont know if its because of the gestation or what but I have never felt like this before. I have always felt pregnant but never have I found it hard to walk or breathe! Thought as he moved down it was meant to get easier to breathe? lol He suddenly feels sooooooooooooooo HEAVY!!!!!

I know girls only feels like yesterday I was in TTC! haha. Saying my prayers everynight so I dont go overdue! xxx
