i just thought i would share this with you- i have been to the docs and got a "booking in" midwife appoint on 18th jan and i think once i have been there it will all seem more real!!!
how exciting!! That's given me hope for my appointment on monday. I really wanted it to be the start of things, and from what you've said, it looks like it might be!
Me too, I was 8 weeks & 2 days, and it was the best day ever. Our midwife was sooo lovely, she go caught up in our excitement and asked if she come in with us for our scan..she held my hand while I sobbed (I was so overwhelmed-I was convinced there would be nothing there on the scan) and hugged us when we were going.
I thanked her for making it such a fantastic experience
Aww thats great. It will start to feel more real when you've seen your midwife. You'l have lots of info to read up on, and they usually send the paperwork off for your scan.
How long does the booking in appt last. I have my scan at 10.15 on 17th Jan and then my booking in appt with midwife at 11.30. My husband has booked the day off to come with me - yipeeee!!! I was hoping we could do something together in the afternoon
