hello

i just thought i would share this with you- i have been to the docs and got a "booking in" midwife appoint on 18th jan and i think once i have been there it will all seem more real!!!

xx

how exciting!! That's given me hope for my appointment on monday. I really wanted it to be the start of things, and from what you've said, it looks like it might be!

The booking in appointment is great, so exciting, seems like that was a life time ago for me!

Me too, I was 8 weeks & 2 days, and it was the best day ever. Our midwife was sooo lovely, she go caught up in our excitement and asked if she come in with us for our scan..she held my hand while I sobbed (I was so overwhelmed-I was convinced there would be nothing there on the scan) and hugged us when we were going.

I thanked her for making it such a fantastic experience

Enjoy, its so amazing :cheer:

Aww thats great. It will start to feel more real when you've seen your midwife. You'l have lots of info to read up on, and they usually send the paperwork off for your scan.

Hey good luck with your booking in appointment it will seem so much real its so exciting knowing that.

Good luck

Good luck Nikki.

I really enjoyed my booking in appointment. It was only last week for me :)

Zoe,

my booking in was for 10.30 and it finished about 12.30. I then went to give some blood for the tests so all in all it took about 2 1/2 hours.

I hope you get some time with your OH after the appt. :)
