Hello ladies
Just a little update!
Went to see m/w today , she is ace, much nicer than the ones I saw last time!
So I mentioned these pains that I've been having for the last week or so and she doesn't think they're Braxton Hicks ... she's not sure but I've been given strict instructions to put my feet up and do NOTHING all weekend
I have to go see my GP Tue in regard to my tummy bug I had over Christmas as she wants to check there is no infection left and if the pains persist after monday I have to call them asap
Good thing is though on the topic of my delivery she has assured me that the consultant team will be 100% behind me on my natural delivery unless any complications occur but I can't use the birthing pool as they will want to closely monitor me.
She was with me on my decision to try and avoid an epidural as she agrees that it takes the naturalness away and makes a longer recovery time... and we have to hope that he comes on time as they will be reluctant to induce me without a section due to rupturing my uterine scar
that he will come on time!
I have also lost 2kg since last time
If pains go away, got to go back in 3 weeks
A question for you all though how often do you see your m/w?
I have got to 26 weeks and have seen her 7 times , my GP twice and consultant once.
