Middle back ache

Has anyone experienced it? I don't remember having it with my son. It started hurting yesterday when I was pretty much sprinting to the doctors with my son. Honestly felt like my back was going to cave in. Now it's just a persistent ache. Had some slight stomach cramps yesterday when I was sprinting but nothing since coming home to relax. I can't get comfortable at night without wedging 6 pillows under me. I'm only 4+4 xx

I would suggest this is muscular and not pg related. Especially as it came on when you were exerting yourself. Have a few warm baths and do some stretching and see if it eases in next few days. Obviously if you're worried then see your GP asap x

I was thinking that. Thank you lovely. I'll have a relaxing bubble bath when my OH gets home. Just went for a long walk so my son could get some fresh air and my back was killing me on the way home. The joys of living on a hill haha xx

I feel your pain! I get this ache quite a lot so sounds familiar. Try and be mindful of your posture as well. Enjoy your bath! x

Bath didn't help much. It's almost like I seize up when I'm relaxing. Strange and I don't have any other pain. The the usual niggles you get in early pregnancy. I have a hot water bottle behind me now xx

Oh no! Have you taken any paracetamol? Try some gentle stretches. There's a lot of the ones I do here
