A question perhaps for the more experienced mummies!

I was planning on putting together a mini medical kit for my little one. I am aware that things like calpol / baby aspirin / gripe water etc, shouldnt be given to newborns...it was more along the lines of a little kit containing bits like this:

Nail clippers
Nasal aspirator
Comb
Thermometer

Is there anything else that you have found really useful in the past that isnt on this list...?

Thank you! xx

I always have some hypercal cream in. Hypericum and calendula. I find it great for skin things and more natural.
Possibly teetha/ camomila sachets. But I suppose a newborn doesn't really need that?

Infacol, we got told to use it from birth by the doctors at hospital, I'm stocking up this time round!

Also bum cream? Sudocream and something stronger like bepenthem (check you can use from birth)

I have a small stock of sudocrem and metanium :)

So, infacol is for colic and can be used from birth?

Thank you for the tips ladies - very helpful! xx

Bum cream - metanium is amazing, and infacol for wind as stated above! Also you can't use Olbas Oil on bedding for a good while but when my lo was 3 weeks old she caught a cold and we put three drops in water in a dish on the bedroom radiator and I'm sure this helped.
