Measuring 1 1/2 behind

Hi I've been to midwife today and am measuring 32 week and I'm 33 + 4 what does this mean I forgot to ask her. Does it mean my dates are wrong or have a small baby or is it just normal. Thanks x

i think its the size of baby hunni, as you will still be the same due date. unless you had a proper scan and she said that then its defo the size of bump/baby. x x x

Yes, it just means that your bump (I think the proper term is fundal height) is measuring a little on the small side, but nothing to worry about, otherwise the midwife would have booked you in for an extra scan to check the baby' s size xx

It's your fundal height (bump) .. Yours sounds a good size. At full term (38 weeks) i was only measuring 32cm (32weeks) so they ended up inducing me as they thought my lil girl was to small. She wasn't!! She was 6lbs7! She was just hiding lol.

Yours is a good size though so dont worry x

Honestly hun, don't worry about it! I measured small with both mine, my first was 9lb12 and 2nd was 8lb3! My consultant told me it was a really unreliable way of doing it as it depends on so many things, like if you've a full bladder and how they're lay xxx

My midwife said they allow 2cm each way for the week you are so being 33 weeks and measuring at 32 is ok...

try not to worry too much!! my fundal height measurement is 36 at 38+4 but scan today shows baby to be weighing around 7lb 2oz so all ok if ur mw was concerned she would refer you xxx

I wouldn't worry too much it's just an estimate and if their were concerned they would of looked into it. Mg bump was measuring behind by about 3cms for a while and right towards my last weeks it jumped up but it all depends on your build too. Good luck hun

Im the complete opposite measuring 38cm!! at 32 week, being monitored closely with growth scans, my due date is 10th June but i dont think il make it that far..... like the others say they allow a couple of cm's each way xx
