ok after my outburst of spamming i would just like to appologise to kirsty for taking overher thread

but seeing as dionne came up with the brill idea of making a thread well here it is

I worked for McDonalds for 3 years and know all the ins and outs
any way i can help just post here

I'm just going to have a little moan, as I don't go to Mcdonalds a lot (not because I'm healthy, but because its about 10 miles away!).
The chip fat is always dirty at the drive through in Aylesbury. You always get home and something is wrong, missing. My OH goes through the bag bit by bit before he will drive off!
Also why don't they do Mcmuffins after 11.00. When I was in Hong Kong, you can get them anytime of the day. Yummy yummy!!

most mcdonalds up here stop selling mc flurrys and shakes after 9pm, every night the shake machine gets cleaned out and they only top up with certain amounts of shake mix and icecream. so it all doesnt go to waste. You cant sell shakes or mc flurries untill 15 minutes after new mix has been added so it has time to freeze up and doesnt com eout all watery

As for muffins its only part of the breakfast menue wich they will only cook it up till at 10am, because the grills are all set to different temps and times they all have to be switched over bang on 10am for the main menue. If you go in at 5 to 10 and ask for something on the breakfast menue they have to cook it for you, but if its 10am they wont do anything about it unless their is some left on teh silver stand.

Plus the other muffins (desert ones) they cant be sold untill after 10amas they take 3 hours defrosting time.

what a great thread weestar ,i was a floor manager at macs for 5 years ,i met my oh there that's about the only good thing about it ,left on maternity leave and couldn't face going back ,if you get too many questions hun i can help you answer them if i can still remember lol xx

id like to echo one comment:

they always get it wrong here too.

once i ordered 2 dbl cheese burgers. and got a chicken premier burger and other random stuff. wasnt too fussed with that though lol

but its rare it goes in my favour lol.

im sick of people moaning about how terrible it is that all they serve is unhealthy stuff..its a friggin fast food place thats what its for burgers chips and generally unhealthy things!.,..you want healthy food dont go there end of..go to a proper restaurant.

but it is true though its very unhealthy food but have u ever notticed after having a McDonalds your hungry again like an hour after.

To this day they still say the burgers are !00% pure beef but i still dont think so

I was once given a rock solid frozen blueberry muffin!! I took it back up to the counter and was like 'I cant eat this its bloody frozen!' They hadnt even defrosted them! They are SOOOOOO yummy though.

Can you ask for extra pickles or is that not allowed??

And what mayo do they used cos thats pretty damn good and have never found any that tastes the same!

you can ask for anything on what ever you like thay have to give you it (its always best to ask for extra or withought something that way it gets made fresh)

as for the Mayo im not sure what type it is maybe nikki can asnwer that one, im stuck
