As several of you have contacted us over the past few weeks with your concerns, we have been doing some digging an now how sufficient evidence to let you know what's been going on.
Regarding member "Bellybump" AKA "Chel-C":
A few of you were concerned that several things this member said didn't add up.
These included messages posted on other forums which contradicted things said here, messages posted on her blog, her being banned from other forums for being a "faker" and photos posted that didn't look like the same person.
Due to the sensitive nature of her posts here we needed to be sure that things weren't right before doing anything, and this week that's been taken out of our hands somewhat.
This is the information we know, make of it what you will.
When I asked her about her posts on another forum (from which she appeared to have been banned) she insisted that it was someone else, an imposter, using her name and copying her posts from this forum over to the other forum. She posted on her blog that this person was called "Cherry Blossom" on other forums and had stolen her name and her identity and joined up a forum pretending to be her.
I spoke with the admin of this other forum and confirmed that the email address she signed up with to both forums is the same, and several of the ips matched. So she was lying to me outright... it WAS her posting on that forum, no doubt about that at all.
The other forum's admin posted a comment on her blog a few days ago, asking how it was possible that this "cherry blossom" person joined up her forum as her with the same email as the one she uses on this forum.
As soon as Bellybump read that message, she deleted it, and attempted to change her email address in her profile on THIS forum.
Unfortunately, anyone who has ever tried to do this will know that this automatically sends me an email and deactivates the account.
So that would all be done and dusted then.... I will not be activating her account again...but before I post this message I feel I should add something else which concerns us.
Another serial faker has been doing the rounds, and was in fact, exposed here:

and also on other parenting forums passing herself off as someone she's not.
We cannot be certain, but what we do know is this:
The ip addresses for bellybump and this sammie person are very similar, come from the same area, with the same ISP. Some of these ips are just one or 2 digits out.
They have both used the exact same birthdate on forums.
The user "cherry blossom" (who is not a member here) alleges that she "outed" Sammie as a faker on another site, and says that's why "Chel-C" has been accusing her of joining the other forum in her name. Cherry Blossom posted a comment on her blog along the lines of "Who are you, I have never met you" and that comment was simply deleted...I wonder why?
When the admin of the other forum questioned Chel-C about the teen site "Sammie" is on, and sent her a link....straight away "Sammie" appeared logged into the teen site....making it seem as though she clicked the link in the mail.
Make of this what you will, maybe it is just a coincidence, but we felt it was important enough to tell you what we know about this. We are not sure, and maybe there is a reasonable explanation to most of this, but I gave BellyBump ample opportunity to explain things when I pmed her several times with questions about the other forum she was banned from....and all she seemed to do was lie and say "it was some girl that i fell out with, i can swear on my life it isnt me!" when actually, we now know for a fact that it WAS her. That forum banned her being a faker, for posting varying information. I feel I did the right thing by contacting Bellybump and openly asking her about what I had seen on this other forum. In return she lied to me.
In my opinion an innocent person would have no need to lie, delete their facebook or delete and edit comments on their blog, as they should have an explanation for things. They would also not need to change their email address on this forum after someone commented on it.
Other people have tried to change their email and got deactivated, and they simply contacted me, or got a friend to contact me and ask me to reactivate their account, Bellybump hasn't done anything like that, it makes me wonder why not.
If Chel-C Has a reasonable explanation for any of the things I have mentioned here, I would suggest she contact me through another member and I will have a look into it.
