I've been thinking about my last period a lot lately and I'm starting to think it wasn't a period at all...
Me and a few friends, including my OH, went to Manchester to watch a band and I had started bleeding that morning, the cramps were normal for me to begin with but started to get worse on the journey down. When we arrived I was in a lot of pain but thought I'd be fine after taking some paracetamol and having food but after about 30mins, we were already in the venue watching the support band, I felt like I was going to pass out from the pain! I stumbled to the loo's and spent the rest of the bands set in there in agony! I was bleeding real heavy and could feel it coming out in waves (sorry tmi) everything kept going black for seconds at a time and I physically couldn't move from the pain for a good half hour!
When I was able to move, I found my OH and asked him to walk me to the car as I was worried I wouldn't make it on my own, I spent the rest of the gig curled up in the car in agony and the pain carried on through the night.
I had no more intensely painful cramps in the days after and I bled for around 3days which is strange in itself because normally I have cramps for the first 3days of my period and I bleed for a good week.
Is it possible that this was a miscarriage that I didn't know I was having? And if it is, what should I do?
