when i first got pregnant, i read we shouldnt have mayonaise. then recently i discovered, it was mainly homemade you shouldnt have as it has raw egg.


so am i ok to have hellmans mayo, or any shop brought one?

my lord have i missed mayo lol

im 99.999999999999999999999999999999% sure mayo is fine (from the shop) ive had it right through my pregnancy without a problem.

I eat shop brought mayo all thru my pregnancy its just homemade stuff you can't eat

I thought we couldn't have it either at the beginning but it turns out is it only the homemade stuff, I was so relieved as my sandwiches were all so dry without it!!!!

you can eat shop bought if you are out eating check that its not homemade though

hellmans or shops own brand will be fine, if you are not sure check its made in the uk- the egg is pasturised making it safe for us pg ladies

Hi

I ate mayo my whole pregnancy but now i love cream cheese on my sandwiches instead of mayo which is wierd.
Asking this though potato salad has ,mayo how do you know if store bought ones are safe ot eat , expecually if they are in the deli?
