May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

Oh lisey that must be hard to feel so unwell :( I have had a few really rough days but nothing compared to you! I am still bleeding it's been 3 weeks now with maybe 5 days where it's stopped completely!! It makes me constantly on edge, going to see what they say Tuesday, also worried because I am rhesus negative, I can't remember if bleeding in the first tri is significant in being Rh neg, I had the anti-d injection with Harrison but the nurse seemed to get half of it down my arm!! Will ask about that on Tuesday too. I have awful indigestion and I look 6 months pregnant.

I don't know anything about the rhesus negative but I am sure they will advise.
Did they give you a reason for the bleeding? Maybe it's a sensitive cervix. I am sure it has a proper name?
It is tough but I'll take it for a lovely little bubs. I wasn't this bad with my son but was in last pregnancy which was a girl so I am wondering if this one is a girly. I am a bit concerned about getting to my appointments this week, I can hardly walk nevermind drive!! Xx

I think it's more tri 2 onwards with the rhesus negative. But I'm not sure my blood group is O+ so Im very lucky that way. I think I can have any blood and be fine. Lisey I don't envy you at all. I was like that a few weeks ago and it's bloody awful. I'm feeling better now I can get some food and drink to stay down too. I found a life saver with an orange pineapple and lemon cordial that I add a splash to water. It's the only thing that's not given me a fowl aftertaste and that's stayed down! Only a small splash of the cordial though nothing too strong. Is there anything your managing to hold down? I also found relief after the hospital gave me that drip so I think if you can find some fluid that sits well you may feel a bit better. Have they been testing your wee? They keep testing mine saying I'm more prone to uti but so far all has been normal just dehydrated.

Is your partner rhesus negative or positive lou? You only need to worry if he's positive other than that

Anti-D injection

If the woman is given an injection of a solution called ‘Anti-D’, it will ‘mop up’ any rhesus positive antigens, preventing production of antibodies against the baby. Anti-D injections reduce the risk of a rhesus negative woman becoming sensitised.

NICE recommends routine antenatal administration of Anti-D to all rhesus negative women in case sensitisation occurs. This can be given as a one-off dose at 28-30 weeks or as two doses at 28 and 34 weeks. It is quite safe for both the mother and the baby.

I am managing to keep stuff down although have been sick today. I can drink, but not alot at a time.
I had urine checked once, haven't heard so I assume ok. I have been like this since 6 weeks, to say I am exhausted is an understatement! Xx

Thank you ery X we don't know what he is, I know it's your second baby that can be affected so I just need more info on it I guess, I wonder if they will check my antibodies at my booking in, need to write these questions down! X

Hi Lou,

They will check your antibodies at your booking.

If you had anti D last time don't worry.

I'm Rh - too.

Xx

I'm off to the docs in the morning to hopefully get some anti sickness pills I'm almost 9 weeks and have been suffering 24/7 with the nausea since I was about 5 weeks had enough now so fingers crossed.. xx

I'm good I'm not feeling sick yet, I've got sore boobs and a mini bump so im trying not to stress about it.

My scan is tomorrow morning.

I'm trying not to worry about a MMC as so far everything has grown as it should and although I lost a twin before there were signs from day one as it had a irregular gestational sac.

The sac last time looked perfect.

Xx

I'm the same hun my last mc was a mmc. But trying so hard not to think about that as last time there were signs I guess. But it's all so hard! The sickness is reducing as are the really sore boob's.... but the anti sickness pills and placenta should be kicking in too..... windows... I demand all tri 1 women get Windows installed so we can see what's going on lol.

morning girls how is everyone? I've been a bit quiet over the weekend. me and oh have been having some issues. hope everyone's OK? has anyone got scans this week? my booking in is a week Friday ill be 10 weeks by then we're getting there slowly!

Oh no. Nothing too serious I hope x.
My booking in is a week on Thurs I think. Threw up again this morning but it's my fault I knew I shouldn't have attempted to drink coke I was just too lazy to go downstars. I had two naughty dreams on the run last night so I couldn't resist and we dtd for the first time in like 6 weeks. I'm still horny now. Oh so very horny. I don't remember getting like this until tri 2 with my son. It's so weird right now I'm right between gonna be sick and want more fun time.... I'm so confused I think I'll just go back to sleep lol. I feel my pregnancy symptoms are right for about 11 weeks where I'm just 8. Mind you they started at 4 weeks this time and last time it was around 6 or 7 I'm sure....

becsy I hope you can get something to relieve your sickness.

Happy birthday Lou!

Who is off for scans this week? I'm now 9+1 and am still debating a private scan next week. Really can't decide about it though. My next nhs scan is at 12+3. How much difference should there be in what you see at 10 and 12 weeks?

Happy birthday snow and lou!!

I'm debating a private scan too. But I'm both terrified and curious. Again. Happy in my ignorance bubble.

I think 10 and 12 week look very similar just bigger at 12 weeks.

Happy birthday snowbee xx what r u doing today?

With Harrison at 10 weeks he was a tiny little baby jumping and kicking around we have some amazing videos from a private scan at 10 weeks, at 12 it was similar but bigger! I would do it, now I really treasure the videos and pics we got at our private scan at 10 weeks, you don't get these moments back and I watch the videos lots. The place we went to was so reasonable £45 and we got a dad with about 5 videos and lots of pics, the quality of the scan was amazing compared to nhs and u got to watch it on a big screen whilst they are scanning u, I will go back there at 10 weeks too xx

Look at his foot at 10 weeks!!

I'm working as normal, but I'm going to sneak off and ride my horse in a few mins before coming back. We were going to go out for the day but my FIL is still on holiday and not back until tonight so we can't (we all work together). We will be going out for food tonight (not sure where yet) and maybe have a day off tomorrow. How about you?

That is a good point Lou, I'm certainly not ruling it out yet.

Ery I'm also horny, we have dtd a lot this weekend (and maybe also this morning for my birthday ;) )

Oh wow just seen the foot photo! I didn't realise you could see so well that early.
