*****May 2016 Mummies*****

They don't have anyone to scan me so paying for a private one this afternoon at 4.45pm I am so worried surely a heavy bleed is a really bad sign

I had a bleed at 8+4 hun. Everything was fine.

It doesnt always mean bad news.

8wks seems to be a common time for a bleed, seen it alot on here and it also happened in my 1st pregnancy. I think its around the time AF would be due and a bleed happens.

It was heavier this time than in my last xx

It started whilst in work (8.30am) and soaked thought my underwear, i didnt have any pads with me.
It eased by 1pm to just spotting and was gone again by evening.
Had scan that afternoon and was all ok.

Since had dating scan and again all ok.

Try to stay positive huni xxx

Try not to worry. I had a huge bleed at 12 weeks last time - like HUGE blood gushing and clots type. I also had bleeding at 5, 8, 14,16 .

If you're not in pain, try to relax. Good luck with your scan

Baby Dale is still alive and kicking!! OMG best £45 I have ever spent, scan was so clear and baby doubled in size since last scan heard the heartbeat was just the most amazing sound no idea why I am bleeding although it has slowed right down to spotting so will rest and ring for scan on Monday to see if the EPU give me anymore idea as to what has happened. Not sure what to do about work on Monday now ?

So glad all is ok hun!!

See how u are tomorrow and if u need to rest Monday, call and explain uve had bleeding over the weekend and will be calling hosp for more answers xxx

So happy to read all is ok :-) these babies like to worry us right from the start don't they! Xx

So so happy to read this. Definitely a very good £45 spend!

I'm so happy to read this update! Honestly Lou, screw work on Monday. You've just had a massive shock and that is not your problem right now! (I'm usually very much the other side of the fence on this one, but seriously - rest up and look after both of you!!) xxxx

Great news Lou, and I'm with everyone else, screw work on Monday, rest up and have some me time. x

Great news Lou!! I had the exact same thing on Thursday night and out of hours signed me off til Wednesday, your body needs to rest and take it easy. They said the unexplained bleeding might be caused by fibroids (usually accompanied by constipation) or cervical erosion, so scary, but such great news that all okay, x

Thank you x was it a heavy bleed then? It's soooo scary! I am still worried but resting!! I just want it to stop completely now! Hoping the EPUB might give me more answers next week but will see xx

Yep was heavy, with a few clots coming down, you just look and think, it's all over. Is our away all my period stuff, and then being pregnant and having to get out pads, you just think it's so wrong, that there won't be any good news after that, but it's amazing how strong some of these bubbas are. It started to ease late thurs eve but didn't stop really completely til Saturday morning. Please take it easy and rest up xx

So happy to hear this!! Sounds like the bleed I had at 12 weeks. Def £45 well spent!!

And you got to see baba :)

Rest up a while, get our OH to run around you for a few days. I'm
Sure work will understand!

3 sleeps until scan :) quite interesting as mum thinks I'm 15 weeks, not eleven judging by what felt suspiciously like movement today but it was probably something else entirely.

Made it to 13 weeks so I'm heading over to tri 2....see you all over there xx
