Got my flu jab tomorrow, I've had it before and know what to expect but the thought of it is always off putting (I hate needles!)

I was wondering about flu jab. My midwife didn't mention it at booking appointment though, do you have to specifically ask for it?

My midwife told me about it at the booking in appointment then I booked it direct with my gp surgery x

Great pic still don't have my scan date through. I know I've got a while to wait anyway but keep checking the post box each morning. At least when it does arrive I wont have to wait too long

I apparently missed my booking in appointment because they sent me a letter that I didn't receive, so instead of chasing it up they just put me down as 'did not attend' I was so upset cos the only date they could fit me in was oct 25th which means I'm now 12 weeks so god knows when my scan with them will be. So we decided to go private so that we could still see baba at the 3 month mark. So glad I did now xx

I've got my 12 week scan date through for the 6th of November at 9:25. I should be 12+1 then.

I did get a little excited nearly ripped it out of the envelope. I just hope that after the twelve week scan I will be able to relax a little more. Sad thing is my husband can't come with me as he has a meeting that he can't get out of. He did come with me when I had my early scan at 9+2 though. My mum got a little excited when I told her he couldn't make it and said "oh good can I come with you instead". I don't think she meant it to come across like that though.

I liked the smiles! it's sad you're husband can't be there but great you have support elsewhere. I'm sure it'll all be fine. I was 9 weeks at my early private scan and think I'll be nearly 13 at scan unless things have gone back a bit!

Oh Gayle I don't know! I'm so tired too. My nausea has been awful today. How's things with you? Xx

I'm ok Vic - very tired (I've kept busy tonight which is the only thing that has kept me going), my appetite is still all over the place and I'm only feeling a little nauseous now. Got my scan on Monday and feel like this week is dragging in!!

Due (to my calculations) 28th May. Feeling exhausted, first day to myself today popped out for lunch with my friend came back by half 3 and been asleep until an hour ago, how can i sleep that much had a lovely lay in too!! MADNESS!

…….just out of curiosity, How does anyone get rid of the metallic taste :/ its really really awful
