maternity pay please help

Hi everyone i am due to start mat leave on 1st oct but i have been in hospital today with spd and i have protein in my urine and blood pressure is raised.They have advised for me to stop work and i was wondering because i a have worked monday this week would i not get maternity pay till the 1st beacuse i have worked part of the week because i know if you ret to work after mat leave halfway thru the week you dont get mat pay for that week.hope this makes sense

You should be able to get a sick note and use untill the 1st is should'nt afect it
