I didn't think I would be asking this question this early, but the bump is growing at a faster pace than expected so here I am! Where did you get your maternity jeans from? There are so many of them online, ranging from Primark ones to £150 ones. It feels like a bit of a minefield and I honestly don't know where to start, so hoping someone might have some helpful advice on ones they have found particularly great.

I always found the mothercare ones really good quality! I did buy some in H&M and new look online but to be honest they just literally fell apart at the seams and ended up living in my mothercare ones! I even used to wear them after babies were born lol! Xx

Good shout Elven - my jeans are really starting to dig in now and I don’t like being I. The office with my flies undone hehehe!! Keen to know the answers on this too x

My next and mothercare jeans are equally comfortable x

I found at the start a pair of stretchy jeggings in a size up were better than actual maternity jeans or start with under bump ones. The over bump maternity jeans only really worked for me once I had a proper bump at around 25 weeks as prior to that they spent the whole time rolling down. In terms of places to get them form I found Matalan, next and mothercare to all be good for maternity clothes.

Also come join the August mummies thread if you haven't already.

I got some feom jojo for about £35 and can honestly say that are he comfiest and nicest jeans I have ever owned! I'll be sad when I can't wear them any more! X

Boohoo.com stuff has been amazing and comfy with reasonable pricing but to be honest I'm getting a lot of my bits 2nd hand from eBay as I'd rather spend the money on baby stuff than bits I'm only going to (hopefully) wear a few month. I've definitely found over the bump more comfortable as under the bump feels a bit wrong to me but its personal preference so my advice is to order both styles and see what works. I agree that over bump doesn't really work until you have a decent size bump thpugh so maybe leggings and long jumpers for a bit?

Thanks for the suggestions, will have a proper look around the shops now. I did find one pair in Peacocks which I bought just in case, as I need some jeans for next week, but kept the receipt as I'm not 100% convinced by them..
