Maternity certificate?

Has everyone been given one of these? I have just been filling out my form for maternity allowance while im off work and they are asking me for one? I KNOW I have not been given one as I have kept everything together!

Is it just my mw or does nobody else have one?

I got mine at 25 weeks, how annoying that they didnt give you yours yet! Think you can also get one from your GP x

i had to ask my mw for my matb1 to send away the form she just sent it out in the post so i got it within a couple of days

yeh i was given mine at 28 week appt. my OH needed it aswell for his work to get sat paternity

I asked my M/W yesterday about this and she said you can get it from them any time after 21 weeks

I got my MATB1 at my 20 week scan - you've normally got to pester them for it though. I handed mine in to work, good job I photocopied it as since they've fired me I think JobCentre will need a copy x

My midwife gave it to me at 24 weeks. You can prob ring up and get her to leave one for you at the GP surgery for you to pick up. Im surprised shes left it this late. I had to give mine to my work by 25 weeks to get the mat pay so I thought she was cutting it fine!

Yeah, i got that straight away!

I have rang and left message for mw to ring me back about this. I need it ASAP as I go on maternity leave in 7 weeks and want to make sure I will be having some income coming in
