MATB1 Form for husband

Hi how do I get a MATB1 form for my hubby for work.

I heard i should have got one after 20 weeks from my midwife but never did.

Is there still time to get one now I am 35 weeks.

Your midwife should be able to fill one in for you. Can't see it being an issue at 35 weeks. I was going to say I'm surprised you've never been given one but realised I saw mw last week at 26 weeks and still haven't been issued it! x

I got mine at 28 weeks

I got mine at 25 weeks. I didn't have to ask for it - she told me the appointment before that she'd issue it next time. I don't think they can do it before 20 weeks (might be later, can't remember) she told me if I needed it before my 25 week appt I could call her and she'd leave it on reception at the doctors for me. Might be worth calling your midwife and seeing if they can do something similar? xx

They are different - I dont remember my OH actually giving a form, just notice:

My husband hasnt had to show this form for either of our children (same employer both times) but I think its best to check with his company x

I never even knew about these forms until my hubby came home from work and asked if I had one for him.

apparently he needs one so he can still get paid while on paternity leave. Im suprised my midwife hasnt even mentioned it to me yet. Definitely going to get it sorted now I know.

My hubby needed a copy of mine, think some companies want to see them. He still had to fill out a paternity leave form too x

I got mine about 26 weeks and my OHs boss wanted to see a copy of it she just gave me mine but my manager managed to loose it within an hour of me giving it to her (!) and midwife was happy to give me a second copy x

First pregnancy i was given my from. Second id to ring and get one left out - they never mentioned it to me so i very nearly forgot about it! Both times OH has got his through his employer tho - could be different for different companies xx
