Hi Ladies

For those of you who havent yet started your maternity leave how long have you get left. I leave 4 weeks today and cant stop counting down I am so excited :cheer: :cheer:

I didnt get to count mine down :( i had to rush a decision as to when to start maternity leave so i choose to go at 37 weeks, then realised i had 4 weeks holiday so would be leaving the following week.

It's great though, i've only had one weekend off so far but i dont miss it, i love not being on my feet and not having to listen to what baby daddy has been up to all week.

Plus i got to take nice walks in the sun and go for pub lunches, i cant remember the last weekend i had to myself lol how sad is that!!

im taking a weeks holiday this week and then from the 18th im on maternity leave. time to enjoy being on my own for a bit before baby arrives. i still have so much to sort out and a alot to sell on ebay lol

i would have stayed for as long as i could but its a 15 min walk to work and back and i stand all day at work thats 7 and a half hours in a 9 hour shift, i dont think my ankles would forgive me!

I wish I had gone earlier now but on the other hand I dont want to sat counting the days down at home. I do have quite alot to do at home though like finishing touches, the nursery, washing the babies clothes, packing my bag  omg got more then I thought to do ha ha

I've got 6 weeks to go

I chose to try and bulk as much of my Maternity leave time after the birth as possible rather than before the birth so i can spend as much time with my LO.

But if i come early i might regret that as i'll have had no time to prepare .... yikes!

I finish a week on Friday, although officially it's not till the Fri after that but I'm a teacher and it's half term week that week, can't wait now :D

5 weeks to go on Friday :cheer: That includes annual leave though.......and I took today off as a bit of a skive / sickie, just to see what it's gonna be like :D

I've finished!!!! Woooooo! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I finished at 35 weeks which I notice is how many weeks you'll be when you finish!! I'm loving it and not fed up at all so I think 35 weeks is a great time to finish...highly reccommended!! :D

Officially i went at 29 weeks but i was off sick from about 21 weeks!

Looking back I couldn't have kept it up. it was knackering and stressful in a non-pregnant state!
