I really wanted to get Harry one of these but not sure which one is best?
I've heard really good things about them both. Any reccomendations?
Only thing that was swaying me towards the snug rather than the bumbo is that I heard the leg holes in bumbo are quite small? Harry has quite chubby wee legs so was thinking maybe it wouldn't last him too long if thats the case?
Thanks in advance ladies! x

I have a snug, and the coloured bit comes off and leaves just the white seat underneath for when they are bigger.

am not sure the bumbo does that?

I had the snug the coloured insert in the middle comes out so its lasts longer xxx

I have the bumbo but it was given to me otherwise i prob would of brought the snug just cos i heard it last longer and im a bit of a m&p addict lol :)

Definitely Snug if you have a chunky monkey. We borrowed a bumbo at a friend's once and poor lo had the embarrassment of having to be forcibly removed as she got stuck!! lol

Thanks ladies, think I'll definitely go for the snug!

Awww poor lo!!! Lol, my lo is def a wee chunk! He's 3 months and already 16lb lol! xxx

We got the bumbo at Xmas as no where stocked the snug! It's fine but if there was a snug available we would if got that for the leg room! Poor B does get stuck if she has anything thicker than leggings on! X

We have both, snug here and bumbo at MIL's, I like them both but much prefer that the snug grows with them. We're getting a highchair for our house now so will pass snug onto MIL and keep the bumbo for out and about/spares. I'd go for snug xx

We've got the snug n its great :) Tyler's got chunky legs n he's fine in it xxx

We have a bumbo and its ok, but if bought secind hand they need to have the harness straps after a recall!! X

My fat fingers can't spell! x

We have the snug. No complaints here. He sits very happily in it. And like the others say it lasts longer. My friends 13month old was sitting in it without the bit in the middle.xxx

We have a Snug, but it's a bit too tight on LO's bum if she's in cloth nappies, so if you're a cloth nappy-er it's not great. In disposables it's fine. x

We have a bumbo that was given to us, but its a bit pants. T can nearly tip is over if he reaches far enough in it. If I was buying I'd go for the snug too xx

We have a Bumbo - but wish I'd bought the Snug as Greyson barely fit in it at 3 months, never mind now at 5!!

Agree with everyone else. We were given a 2nd hand bumbo, and by the time Ben was ready to use it his legs were too big and he would get stuck in it. He could also nearly tip it over too by rocking back and forward, so if we'd actually used it for any length of time he'd have had an accident.

Haven't used a Snug, but I certainly wouldn't recommend a bumbo at all.

We had a bumboo and h learnt how to climb out of it very quickly. My friend has a snug that h uses if we go round for lunch and he can still fit into the new baby insert! Lol!
Xxx

Got the snug today, already love it! H looks so grown up in it tho, it's mad! Xxx
