I will make it as short as possible i really am not having time for my self now any more..
i was induced on the 17th 9 am ..had another gel by around 2 pm i think can't remember the times lol.. was in agony for a while waters broken soon after second gel...pain was coming quicker and i couldn't bare it soo asked for the epidural..it took him a while to find the right spot but thank god it did work and did have about 2 top ups later...
started to dilate ... although i had the epidural i could stil feel the pain! babys heart rate was dropping and picking up all the time which worried the Dr alot and was prepared for a section..she thought the cord was wrapped around his neck and indeed it was..any way i was petrefied coz i didnt want a section ...
they kept monitoring his heart rate closely all the way through...when i was about 9 cm dilated i was asked to push and it was haaaaaaaard i couldn't catch my breath it was continious ... but it was a bit too early so after few pushes she asked if i could continue or rest a bit i prefered to rest...when the time for the serious pushing came the epidural have worn off a bit and that's what the Dr wants... soo i was pushing and pushing and pushing for about 50 min non stop it was tiring ..i was sweating and barely catch my breath...had an episitomey and baby was born at 11:30 ..
oh forgot to mention i did try gas and air and was dizzy lloooool didn't know it would give me this effect ..it isn't bad but i wasn't doing it properly..
now i am just a bit sore from the stiches and kind of had depression ..hope i feel better soon..

Congratulations hun. I'm sure you will be back on your feet in no time. I had an episiotomy so I know how you feel. I was quite sore for the first few weeks but after that I was absolutely fine.
