Mablestar - update 2nd Nov 1pm

Hi everyone

I have been speaking to Mablestar over the past couple of weeks as she has been having similar problems in her pregnancy as I have where she found out that her baby hasnt been growing as much is it should be. She is 30 weeks and 2 days today.

She has been having growth scans and doppler scans and has been in hospital since Thursday staying and has been told that she will be in the hospital now until the baby is delivered as she is now having to have daily doppler scans as the blood flow from baby to placenta has to be checked everyday.

I have heard from her this morning to say that the baby is staying put for another day and she will have another doppler scan tomorrow, so she is basically in hospital and they are taking it each day at a time. Her last growth scan showed that the baby was 2lbs in weight.

I will update whenever she gets in touch but I would just like to send her loads of love and best wishes xx

31st Oct 8pm

Just had a text to say that she is grateful for all the messages and that she is very emotional tonight poor soul. I told her to have a good cry and she would feel better. She has another scan in the am and will update me then and I will let you all know how she is doing xx

1st Nov 8.30pm

Just had a text to say that the baby is staying put for at least another day and she will have another scan tomorrow, there is no room in the SCBU where she is so they said that it is best for the baby to stay in rather than out, also she is feeling much better and upbeat today as she knows that everyday is another day of cooking time xx

2nd Nov 1pm

Had a text from Edwina today and she is allowed to come home and go back into hospital for a scan tomorrow, the doppler isnt great but he is best staying put just now. I have told her about the labour watches and she said she will be online later so im sure she will thank you all for the messages xx

Well hospital is the best place to keep a close eye on her and baby so she is in the right place.
