M&P Car seats?

Has anyone had any complaints?

We had a Pro Sleep IP, as we wanted the Ziko Herbie and this made it a travel system. I absolutely hate it, and have had to buy another car seat last week, a Maxi Cosi FWIW. The ladies in Mothercare say they hear complaints about M&P car seats being too upright all the time.

Before buying I read reviews that only complained about the weight of it, which so far I haven't had an issue with, but it was so upright Lucy's head always flopped forwards when she fell asleep which is obviously dangerous. The day we went to get another seat, her head was so flopped forward that she had a bright red patch on her cheek from the shoulder harness pad!

I've just written a letter of complaint, dunno what reason for really, but it might be worth a shot.

We had a look into the primo viaggio (sp?) and decided against it because of the reasons you mentioned. Everything I read suggested that there were problems with newborns' heads flopping forward in it and which magazine said it rated poor in side impact crash tests.

We just use the Graco seat that came with our travel system just now but are going for a Maxi Cosi Priorifix when she's too big for that.

Hate them hate them hate them!

I'm not sure about the one you are talking about, but I had the Primmo Viaggio one for Mhairi. It was far too upright, and twice she got her head wedged between the side protction and the lap belt holders!!!!

I'm pretty sure they have changed the design though!

I had the same one as Lainey and it was far too heavy to carry on its own nevermind with Finlay in it. Also he was tiny and his head flopped forward even with the head hugger in it. Was too upright and he never seemed comfortable.

I had to replace it after we were in a car crash and got a Maxi Cosi. Huge difference! We can actually carry it with a 19lb 8 month old in it. I doubt we would be able to with him in the M&P one

Are there any other car seats that are compatible to use on a mamas and papas pram to make it a travel system?
