When do you start counting down your luteal phase?

Is it from when you get the positive OPK?

Thanks :)

You usually ovulate 12-36 hours after a positive OPK. So if I had a positive on Monday, I'd count Tuesday as O day and Wednesday as 1dpo. It's not an exact science.

I rely on EWCM. I generally have three days worth and once it stops I get cloudy discharge. So I count cloudy day as 1dpo. Sorry if that's tmi lol

Thank you :)

I’m on CD25 now and I think I’m almost there with my positive opk.

I’m not sure how long my cycles are as this is the first month I’ve been monitoring.

I had ewcm for a few days around the CD19-CD22 point but not so much now, it’s more watery. TMI also sorry:D

Here’s my opk from this morning, would you say this is a positive just almost?

Tbh the main reason I rely on EWCM because I couldn't make OPKs work haha. I think I drink too much because I never got positives with them! Your test looks positive to me but I'm really not an expert.

Thanks, I hope it is a positive as I’m quite far into my cycle now.

Yes I’ve read that cm is reliable when tracking your cycles, maybe mine has just eased off because I’ve had quite a few days of it already. Or maybe I’m ovulating late.

Definitely positive this time :)

Think I can lay off the opk’s for today. I’ve literally used about 40 in 10 days

I've found that using tests later in the day gives me more positive results. I used to measure about 11-12ish but now I've moved to measure at 6-7pm and I've been getting positive every time (obviously around predicted ovulation time).
