Lump under nipple?!

Sorry me again. I noticed yesterday when I went to feed my baby a lump in my boob. I only noticed it because where you "squish" the nipple so you get enough in babies mouth, well it won't squish. It's sore when I do this. It feels quite big and hard. Now I know you can get blocked ducts but I can't help worry its not that. What should I do? I feel stupid asking a dr incase it's something simple.

I would ask the doctor or health visitor! Don't feel silly it's what they are there for and it's always best to get it checked xxxx

I got a few of these and they always turned out to be blocked ducts, so try not to worry. Try to change lo's feeding position so her chin is on or near the lump, this should help empty it. Alternatively you can gently massage it yourself.this is best done in the bath, as the hot water really helps. If it doesn't get smaller or disappear, in the next day or two mention it to your H.v.
