Low Progesterone?? What does this mean??

So I got my blood work back today - im 7 weeks - HCG 8600 which they said was good but 10.58 progesterone which I think is low and they are looking for about 12 and above. The dr isn't there today and I spoke to basically a moron there and got no reassurance - just maybe I might be put on a pill?

From what I am seeing low progesterone can signal miscarraige or ectopic? IS this a bad sign?

I had low progesterone when I conceived our first so used pessaries up until 13 weeks. When is the doctor back? Xx

I knew I had low progesterone before we conceived so had the pessaries to support the pregnancy. If you're not experiencing any spotting I wouldn't worry, just speak to your doctor tomorrow xx

Ok thank you. I just hate when they say information then sort of don’t explain! Ugh! I’m thinking the worst obviously

Yeah, I can imagine, but please try not to worry. The fact you have conceived means your progesterone must be at a decent level - I needed the pessaries to conceive xx
