 Does anyone have it? My doctor said not to worry that in the worst scenario I end up having C section. However, I googled it tonight and am in shock. It can be very serious. Why did I do that to myself? I shouldn't have read it :wall: :wall: :wall:

Google can be your best and worst friends lol!
Im sure it will be fine hun! Most low lying placentas move up as the womb grows and dont cause any problems! Its something like 90% so try not to worry hun!

I agree with Lea. There will be nothing to worry about.

I had a week of bleeding at 16-17 weeks, they gave me a scan and said that it was because my placenta was low-lying, ie. covering my cervix. They said it would most probably move up and not to worry. This week I had my 20 week scan and my placenta had moved and all was fine.

If you do have a low placenta they will keep scanning you and according to my hospital they don't class it as a problem unless you reach 35 weeks and it is still low.

Googling can be very dangerous! Try not to worry, im sure all will be fine.
