Hey ladies, For you all who tried aspirin.. Did you take it all the time or just when you got your BFP.
I was advised by the nurser after my MMC to give it a go, she said from when you get your bfp.
But I keep having chemicals, so didnt know if it was worth giving it a go while TCC too xx

I took it as soon as I got my positive test which was 11dpo. My friend also sworn by it after having numerous losses. I truly believe it has helped sustain my current pregnancy and I plan to continue taking it right up until the day I deliver. X

I also took Royal jelly capsules and omega 3 as they apparently increase egg quality xx

Okay, great tank you, I've got a stock pile now x

Ive been wondering whether to take it too. Before i had my mmc the midwife said i would need to take low dose asprin from 12 weeks due to being 42. Just wondering whether it would be worth starting it earlier if i get a bfp. Might try royal jelly too and omega 3. Will try anything...im sure boots or superdrug will be pleased!

I was told just before my procedure To take it as soon as I find out I'm pregnant. I really don't think it can hurt!
xxx

Hi Lulla Bell,

I think I remember you from somewhere on here - either we've both been pregnant at the same time or experienced losses at the same time. I saw your other post and I'm so sorry it seems like you're going through this again but please don't lose hope. I experienced 4 losses in a row, all investigations came back normal, then I started taking low dose aspirin (whilst ttc not just after positive test) and progesterone pessaries (after bfp) and I am now 27 weeks pregnant- this happened the very next cycle. There is always hope xxx

Also started on low dose aspirin whilst TTC. Sorry about your loss. Hope you'll have a sticky bean soon

Hi Emma, I would have been 25ish weeks pregnant with my MMC now, so Thats probably where its from,
Ive asked about progesterone but my doctor didn't know anything about it so has written to a specialist , were waiting to hear back from him now. Im kind o hoping it'll be soon,
Im defiantly going to take aspirin every day though!
It cant hurt obviously xx

Thankyou, Ill defiantly be giving it a go! Im willing to try anything x

Hi again LullaBell,

If you've had 3 or more losses (no matter how early) you should be able to self refer to your local early pregnancy unit.. This was another gem of info one of the other ladies gave me on here. I just phoned up and was seen very quickly without going via my GP. When I mentioned progesterone the nurses response was that they don't routinely prescribe it anymore but that the consultant will prescribe if it is specifically requested! (There was an individual study that showed it didn't prevent miscarriages so it wasn't deemed cost effective - but the specialist nurse and everyone else I saw there swore that it did help in some cases)

I hope this helps and I hope you get your sticky baby. Stay positive xxx

I am under the EPU, :) I phoned up the day I found out and had a scan two days later, they were great getting me in :)
I'm pretty sure I will get progesterone, it's just were in Cornwall, so the specialist for here, covers Cornwall and Devon. I think he's a busy guy.
However I am going to be calling my doctor today and asking them to hurry up x
