Was out last night to celebrate my mums 70th Birthday & when I got home my feet & legs had started to swell. Today swelling had subsided but feeling totally terrible, no energy at all. As I had PE in previous pregnancy I have snap monitor, so checked my BP & it was 95/60. This is def lower than normal & could help explain why I felt poorly, at what point though should I think about getting in touch with MW. I have just tried to rest up & drink lots of liquids, not sure if there is anything else I should be doing? Anyone any experience of low BP in pregnancy?

Hiya, mine has been low throughout my pregnancy, ranging from 70/40 - 100/80. It's much better for it to be low rather than high, and i was told it won't affect baby, just makes you feel a bit rubbish! Just drink as much as you can and try and rest. If you feel light headed, try and get your head down (literally!) like between your knees!! Very tricky when pregnant but does help!! X

Yeah I agree, mine sits at 98 or 100/60 every time. Watch out for warmer showers/batha, getting up too quickly and allowing yourself to get really thirsty or hungry, something sweet in your bag for emergencys is a good idea x

Thanks ladies, in my last pregnancy BP was fine ~110/70 until week 37 when it shot up to 211/101, I was diagnosed with severe PE, so because of that I have monitor at home! Never really suffered from low BP so this is new territory for me. I'm visiting my folks at moment so my dad got up with my toddler this morning & let me lie in for hour n half & I feel so much better, also spent all day yesterday & today drinking lots of fluids, hopefully BP will remain this good for remainder of pregnancy.
