Lost abit of my plug

Yesterday I lost abit of my plug It was clear but definately part of it. I lost abit a couple of weeks ago aswell but not as much as yesterday.

I've had non today though. Just wondering if I should phone the midwife? I've had non since yesterday and having no pain or anything like that so don't know if I should leave it and see and if I get anymore then phone her

Just abit worrying because I had Nathan early and I don't want this baby to come even earlier

I am dreading the day my plug comes away - It makes me feel thinking about it

I read on the net if your lose plug before 34 weeks you should call your midwife to be on the safe side.

Mine (what it was believed to be) came away on thursday. When I was 27 weeks + 1 day. I spent two days in hospital for that and various other reasons. So, yes, I think you should be checked incase premature labour starts.

Thanks for your replies I have just had abit more now It's not that much but enough to notice if you know what I mean?

It's still clear though, no blood at all in it. Will phone midwife in the morning or before that if it goes bloody or I have loads.

Mine was thick white stuff , floating on top of the water with blood in it (sorry TMI)

Then when they tried to swab in triage, there was too much blood to do the test they wanted. But it stopped that night.

Once your midwife is aware, it means you can be monitored. And you may need the swab I had today, which determines your level of risk of going into prem labour.
