loosing hair

hi mummies
my baby is nearly 5weeks and loosing her hair iv heard about babies loosing their hair at the back where they lay on it. but my bubs has lost it at the front she looks like my granddad lol.
it still seems quite thick at the back
any ideas

Some lose alot - others not so much!

Baillie had (and still has) a bald spot at the back from rubbing on her cot when she is sleeping.

She also lost some when she had her cradle cap removed.

I know a baby that was born with a full head of dark hair and after a month he looked like he had male-patterned baldness!! (Pure wee thing ).

Sounds very familiar to us. My LO was born with a head of straight brown hair, over the course of a few weeks it fell out and now she has curly gingery blonde hair.

Some babies lose their birth hair, some don't. Mine did

iv got a t shirt i brought b4 she was born it says i may b bald but im cute, i can put summer in that now

James lost his hair all round the sides but not at the back, he had a mowhawk when he was born too and half of that fell out so I cut the rest, his hair is all growing back now.

Finlay's hair didn't really fall out but recently we've found a bald patch at the back but he sleeps on his front
