looks likea c-section for me

yh they have given me paracetemol and cold sore cream as ive not even been able to walk or sit properly

I had a cannula put in my wrist by a nurse in hospital in Spain, she blew the vein and i was bruised and swollen for 2 weeks. I tried to tell her that the vein in my arm (where she eventually got the cannula in ) was the best and has never failed. I think the language barrier was may have been to blame there though. As a nurse if a patient tells you where they have good veins you generally listen as it makes life so much easier for everyone.

Roxane, i hope the cream helps you start to feel better soon, you've had a rough time lately!

Thing is the cannular going in does only take a couple of minutes (even if they do have to try a couple of times) try to close your eyes and take yourself to a happy place - sounds corney but if you focus entirely on something else it will help. Maybe just highlight how worried you are about that bit and they"ll prob get the best person to do it rather than possibly a trainee.
